The King center say they did not give President Buhari any award...see their tweet

Few days ago, the presidency shared photos of Presient Buhari granting audience to Dr Mrs Naomi Barbara King, who happens to be the sister in-law of the great Martin Luther King Jnr.

A statement released by the presidency said that Naomi and other members of the Martin Luther King family, conferred The First Black History Month National Black Excellence and Exceptional African Leadership Award 2018 to President Buhari at the Council Chambers in Abuja. 

Now The King center through its verified account, dissociated itself from the award presented to President Buhari. The center in its tweet said the award was not  given by the center or at the request of the center or by children of Martin Luther King.
