Two members of a family were injured after a car smashed into their house as they watched television.

The scene after the Audi smashed into the houseA mother and daughter were both taken to hospital after the crash in Worcester on Friday night.
Robert Beattie, his wife Mel and 15-year-old daughter Tash were reportedly sitting in their living room when the car ploughed through a window at the front of the home.
Mr Beattie told the BBC he had to rescue both family members after the incident left them "shocked" and "confused".
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called to Battenhall Rise in Worcester at around 10.30pm on Friday following reports of a car which had collided with a house.“An ambulance, a paramedic officer and the West Midlands CARE Team attended the scene and found a car which had ended up going through a window at the front of the property.
