A burglar got into a celebratory mood after successfully breaking into an office building but got arrested at the end.
43-year-old David Michael Seale was arrested on Tuesday in Fresno, California and charged with felony burglary and providing a false identity to an officer in connection with the break-in.
Authorities were alerted by an office worker at about 10.10am on Tuesday in the commercial area near Shaw Avenue and Hughes Avenue after a suspicious person was spotted leaving the building on foot.
Following a report of an expensive laptop stolen from the building over the weekend, Police rushed to the scene.
According to police, Seale was found loitering a short distance away, and had the stolen laptop in his possession.
The officers said they were surprised as a set of keys which opened the building doors and the office suite where the laptop had been stolen were found on him and the keys were copies, not originals.
In the surveillance tapes obtained by the police, they said Seale is seen entering and exiting building and victim's office suite several times over the weekend, with one of the tapes showing the burglar doing a celebratory dance after unlocking the building doors ..
According to Court records, Seale is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count each of receiving stolen property, falsely representing self to officers, and possession of burglary tools.
He is being held without bond on the probation violation at the Fresno County Jail.
