A neighbour called the police on a 12-year-old entrepreneur as he was mowing a lawn last week and inadvertently strayed into their yard. But the neighbour's action has now helped the young entrepreneur get lots of new clients after they heard his story.

Reggie Fields, 12, runs Mr. Reggie's Lawn Cutting Service in the Cleveland, Ohio, suburb of Maple Heights. He has his cousins and his brothers and sisters working for him.

A 14-year-old schoolgirl has gone missing after leaving her mother's shop in Ikorodu to go out with her 20-year-old boyfriend.

Bilikisu Oseni, an S.S.1 student, left her mother’s shop in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State, with her boyfriend, Wahis, on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Wahis, a motor boy, took Bilikisu on a motorcycle to his new apartment on Igbosoro Road, Ikorodu, and that was the last she was seen, Punch reports.

When Bilikisu did not return home, her mother, Fausatu Oseni, got Wahis arrested. Wahis was eventually granted bail after his relatives promised that he would produce Bilikisu. But he was mandated to return the victim in 7 days or be re-arrested.

LASTMA officer begs for mercy after his hand gets trapped when a driver wound up as he tried to forcefully enter the car

An officer of the Lagos State Transport Management Authority, LASTMA, was forced to beg for mercy after a driver wound up, trapping his hand between the window and the roof of the car when the officer tried to forcefully gain entrance into the vehicle.

According to an eyewitness, the LASTMA officer was trapped for over 10 minutes and passersby had to join in begging the driver to free the officer.

@eDante_ wrote: "One lastma guy tried to enter someone's car just now, this locked the lastma guy's hand with the glass. From shouting, people had to beg him Over 10mins."

Former president Jacob Zuma's son dies

Former South African President, Jacob Zuma has lost one of his sons‚ Vusi Nhlakanipho Zuma.

Vusi passed away in a private hospital in Johannesburg on Sunday, after a short illness.

There are no further details at present. The Zuma family have indicated a representative will "advise on any further details" in due course.

Spokesperson for the State Police Command, who confirmed the development in a statement, Ebere Amaraizu, said Pa Michael Obi and his driver, Ishaya John, were kidnapped last Friday along Makurdi – Enugu Road.

Bukola Saraki’s Chief of Staff dumps APC

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the Chief of Staff to the President of the Senate Bukola Saraki, on Monday dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC).  

Ahmed who was appointed by Saraki in 2017, however said that his decision had nothing to do with Saraki, stressing that it was difficult to leave the APC. He said he took the decision after due consultation with members of his Akida faction of APC in Kaduna.  

The Akida faction also has Sen. Shehu Sani, as member. Sen. Sani has also threatened to leave the APC. Baba-Ahmed, while addressing journalists in Kaduna today said he has sent a letter of withdrawal from APC to the party chairman. He explained that he was not leaving APC to join another party but because the party had performed poorly.
