Aisha Buhari is shaking a major table with her Instagram birthday post to immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, John Odigie-Oyegun.

The former APC National Chairman turned a year older recently and Mrs Buhari took to her IG page to wish him a Happy Birthday this morning.

Her post has however been implied to be a shade to the current Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomole. Her post reads

Some Nigerians interpreted her post describing Oyegun as a ''peacemaker and unifying factor'' to be a sub for Oshiomole.

Jossy Otu disclosed that she is married to a lawyer and further stated that she decided to create a job for herself as she couldn't get one. According to her, she was ashamed the first day she started off the business, but went on to make a profit of N150k in two months.

Kate Henshaw has called out the Kano state government for the unjust arraignment in court and detention of one of her colleagues, Oscar Sunusi.

Kate in a post shared on her IG page, alleged that Sunusi was arraigned for releasing a music on youtube without going through the state Censors board. He was summarily sent to prison by the presiding judge. Kate says details show that the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has a hand in Sunusi's travail.

The UEFA Men's Player of the Year shortlist has been released with Virgil van Dijk ready to battle Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the award.

Ban on FOREX for food importation is anti-people- PDP tells President Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described President Buhari’s directive to the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN against the issuance of FOREX to importers of food products, as ''anti-people'', mean, ill-timed and completely against the wellbeing of Nigerians.

Recall that during the SALLAH break, President Buhari announced that he has ordered the CBN not to issue FOREX to food importers. According to President Buhari, the agricultural sector has grown tremendously and his administration has been able to attain full food security.

Speaking at the event, President Buhari revealed that the Federal Government invested huge resources in the health sector in the last 4 years which include an increased budgetary allocation to the sector from N259 billion in 2015 to N340 billion in 2018.

“Accordingly, significant stride has been made to life expectancy and reduced some of the killer diseases associated with child and maternal mortality claiming 70 death per 100,000 and 90 persons by the year 2007 as explained in the United Nations sustainable development goals.

“Despite this, more efforts are needed to fill in the wide range of diseases and remain persistent in the emerging health issues in our society.

“To achieve this, we must now reveal effort to focus on providing more efficient funding on the health sector" he said.
