A look from the Marco De Vincenzo autumn/winter 2020 collection.

Marco De Vincenzo recently celebrated the launch of his menswear collection and the 10th anniversary of his eponymous brand. A designer usually full of passion and enthusiasm, he had dark words regarding the future.
“The coronavirus emergency in Milan started during the autumn/winter 2020-21 fashion week. Buyers from all over the world were obviously concerned, so they left as quick as they could, never to return,” said De Vincenzo. “We booked just a few orders for next season, which means we might not be able to afford to produce them, since our suppliers request minimum quantities for fabrics and such.”

The British Fashion Council has launched a new fund today to help creative businesses and individuals to survive the coronavirus crisis.

Burberry has donated to the fund

The BFC Foundation COVID Crisis Fund will make £1,000,000 of emergency funds available to designer businesses, with a portion of the money also being allocated to students to "underpin the future generation of creative talent."
“Now more than ever, we are committed to supporting the businesses and people that make up our industry," Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC, said. "With the BFC Foundation Covid Crisis Fund and the donations raised, our hope is to support those British businesses that need additional subsidies, beyond Government stimulus available, to address their most urgent challenges.”The BFC has raised the money through pooling the BFC talent support grants that would have traditionally been awarded to emerging brands for either early-stage showcasing support or business growth and promotion.

Fashion / Style surgery: How to INJECT new colors into your wardrobe and style it like a pro.

Although it is a fabulous idea to wear hues that we love, it is also a good idea to be aware of what fits the season, and our skin tone. the beauty of color is that it allows us to construct an illusion, ideas, and personality.

The concept of a capsule wardrobe is to be able to combine all of our limited amount of clothing pieces together and fit them, so it makes sense to start with neutral looks. however, over the years, I have shared some ideas on how to inject a pop of color and  make your wardrobe capsule more fun and effortless

Get Started with a colorful arm candy or purse . It really pops a monochromatic dress and adds life. Go for a color that is in harmony with your inner vibration and that suits your current wardrobe
Wear colorful accessories.  A statement necklace or earrings might be a great way to express your style. Do not be afraid to spruce up your look by adding some color. A bright belt or scarf is also a fun way to put in some color.

The color injection will be fun and simple if you do one step at a time.

Exfoliating your skin

If you have oil, dry skin or even combination skin, not exfoliating will cause accumulation of dead skin cells. ... You create a cleaner surface by sloughing off dead skin, to which the makeup will adhere, allowing for a more even, seamless effect and longer wear.

Hydrate the Skin

Moisturizer smoothes the surface of the skin and can also enable makeup to remain on for longer. moreover,  beneath makeup hydrating skin can help the skin look less dull. Using foundations on dry skin will make your makeup not look even.

My Surviving Tips During This Nationwide Lock-down to Look After my Well-being.

During this time of nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak, what I do to look after my wellbeing are as follows.

1. I make sure I have at least an hour workout every day. that includes stretching, yoga and bike ride. thanks to my Roger Black fitness bike you are a lifesaver at this time. People who regularly exercise prefer to do so because it gives them a great sense of wellbeing.  This also relieves stress, allows you to sleep well and increases your mood overall.

2. I listen to motivational audios from my favorite mentors.
Listening to motivational statements will increase your self-confidence and belief in your ability to achieve your goals until you reach a state of relaxation. This audio is meant to be listened to regularly to help increase your positive self-discussion regarding achieving your objectives

3. keep my space immaculate tidy as always.
our home is the place where our day begins and ends. Whether or not you are aware of it, the physical space in which we work and spend a great deal of your time has an important role to play in how we behave. Having a home in such a chaotic state can have a number of effects on us. Our mind can't live completely independently in such an environment, so a clean and organized home is significant.

4. Declutter, every unwanted item should be out.
it can become an effective way to practice self-care because it lets you take control of your home, life, and "things" to enhance your overall well-being. ... Build a home that can give you time, space, energy, and clarity to boost your overall health, happiness, and wellbeing

5. Be optimistic about life always no matter what.
optimism is necessary when it comes to dealing with stressful life events. ... This means optimists are usually more optimistic about their lives than pessimists. When attending to positive results to a greater degree than negative ones, optimists will also rebound from disappointments more quickly.
