Ex-Liverpool and Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres signs for Japan
Former Liverpool, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker, Fernando Torres  has ended speculation about his future by joining Japanese club Sagan Tosu.
The move for the 34-year-old Spaniard comes after his Atletico Madrid contract ran out this summer and was not renewed.

Speaking at his unveiling today, he said: I had offers from France, Germany, other clubs in Spain,' he said, 'but I did not want to join another European club, as I had the best end
possible here with my team (Atletico).

'I will have a good friend in the league too with Andres. It is an exciting challenge for both of us.' 
I am joining up next week and hoping to start as soon as possible with my new team-mates, playing games and scoring goals,' Torres continued. 
'I hope to make my debut, at home, on July 21. I hope to be there for many years. It will depend on my sporting performance.'
Torres, a World Cup and European Championship winner was part of Chelsea's Champions League-winning team in 2012. He scored 126 goals in 314 matches in an eight-year spell in English football, including four years with Liverpool when he scored 81 times in only 142 games.
