The Fenty Puma collaboration she launched in 2016 generated $1bn in sales for the German activewear brand, while the inclusive cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, she launched in 2017 changed the beauty landscape with an inclusive range of 40 foundations and reportedly made $100 million in sales in its first 40 days on the market.
Earlier this year the Bajan artist brought her midas touch to the underwear category with her Savage x Fenty lingerie line which, like Fenty Beauty, became an overnight success thanks to its super inclusive product - which comes in seven nude shades and boasts bras from 32A to 44DD.
Now, news comes that Rihanna is set to delight Fenty fans the world over with the launch of her own eponymous luxury fashion label.
According to WWD, the artist is in secret talks with luxury conglomerate LVMH about creating a line spanning ready-to-wear, leather goods and accessories. LVMH is said to have already selected a number of employees from brands such as Celine and Louis Vuitton to work on Rihanna’s potential new fashion house.
Further details about when the label will be released have not been disclosed, but there are rumours that it will coincide with the launch of Rihanna's ninth album later this year. The singer is reportedly heavily involved with the design of the brand, with LVMH chairman and CEO Sidney Toledano overseeing the project.
