'I know he mad on the low' - Billie Eilish mocks Lil Nas X as he dethrones him with her first Billboard No. 1 single

American singer-songwriter, Billie Eilish has officially taken over the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 after waiting patiently at No. 2 with her single "Bad Guy" for nine-weeks.

Her accomplishment ended the longest-leading Hot 100 chart-topper of all time, beating Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus' 19-week domination.

Upon hearing the news on Monday (Aug. 19), Lil Nas X  took to Twitter to congratulate the 17-year-old singer. "congratulations to billie eilish!! u deserve this!!" he wrote.

"This is the first week in 5 months old town road hasn’t been number 1. this journey had taught me so much!" he continued on Instagram, before noting that his music video for "Panini" is "coming soon."

Responding to Lil Nas X' congratulations tweet after her 'Bad Guy' song dethroned his 'Old Town Road' on the Hot 100, Billie Eilish took a playful swipe at him.
