Mercy Johnson finally addresses rumours of trouble in her marriage

Earlier in the year, actress Mercy Johnson deleted every photo of her husband from her Instagram page and this led to speculations that there was trouble in her seemingly happy marriage.

The actress quelled the rumor days later with a cosy photo of her and her husband curled up in bed in matching pyjamas.

The actress has now addressed the rumours in an Interview with Punch. The mother-of-three explained why she removed her husband's photos from her page and revealed that there's no problem in her marriage.

She said:

Prophet T.B. Joshua has rebuked churchgoers who rely on their “dirty money” to pave way for them to receive God’s blessings.

The cleric, in a sermon, decried the level of ‘pride’ shown by church members nowadays. “We are too proud – that is why we believe so much in money,” he told congregants at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

“‘Money answereth everything that is the voice of pride”, he continued in the sermon titled ‘Read The Bible With Forgiveness. When you speak, one can hear the voice of money. When you walk, one can see the traces of money… But money is dirty; the journey of money is too far”.

He advised that all genuine Christians should rather engage in an assignment in their various churches, stressing the need to set a day aside in the week for such purpose. “Get interested in His plans and work with His projects. Go and work in the church where humility can come,” he counselled, explaining this would afford the opportunity to work freely with people irrespective of their social class.


Joshua recounted how his own mother would regularly bring him to church at the weekends and he watched intently as she diligently cleaned the church premises and simultaneously prayed. “When I asked her what she was saying in her prayers, she told me, ‘Lord, as I clean Your house, clean my life, future, family and children’. Here I am today.”

The feud between Cardi B and Azealia Bank has left the rap sensation with no other option than to delete her Instagram account after things got messier yesterday.

As earlier reported, It all started after Azealia appeared on The Breakfast Club on Friday, where she discussed some topics like Donald Trump, Kanye West, her upcoming music, as well as her previous criticism of Cardi B.

When confronted about calling the Cardi B “an illiterate rat” back in February, she described Cardi as a “caricature of a black woman that black women themselves would never be able to get away from.”

A bike rider was rescued from the claws of death after overdosing on tramadol, yesterday, along Ogodo road, Sapele in Delta State.

According to reports, the man was conveying two passengers when he got hit by the effect of the overdose and he fell off the bike. He was, however, overpowered when he started acting up.

Some amount of sugar was said to have been forced into his mouth before he was showered with water. He was later stabilised.
