I have settled with Oshiomhole - Governor Obaseki

Governor Godwin Obaseki on Monday August 12, announced that he has settled with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole.

The Edo State Governor made the disclosure at a mass organized at St Paul Catholic Church in Benin to mark the 80th birthday of former APC national chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun. Governor Obaseki expressed hope of normalcy returning to the state.

A source told Us Weekly that the model and heiress "split about two months ago, but are off and on still speaking." The source also said that Green is selling their London home.

News of their break up comes after Green was pictured kissing a mystery man on a yacht in the Mediterranean on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Kenyan Football Federation sacks coach Sebastien Migne

Kenya’s football federation has sacked coach Sebastien Migne barely eight days after his team were eliminated from qualifying for the 2020 African Nations Championship.

Kenya were knocked out of the tournament on August 4 after both legs of their first-round tie with neighbours and arch-rivals Tanzania ended goalless.  

Frenchman Migne took charge of the Harambee Stars in May 2018 and steered the side to a first African Cup of Nations finals appearance in 15 years. Hampered by injuries to key players, Kenya were eliminated at the group stage despite beating Tanzania, 3-2.

BBNaija housemate Khafi faces sack by MET Police as she's being investigated after sex on the show

Big Brother Naija housemate and Met Police officer, Khafi Kareem, 29, is being investigated for having sex on the show despite warning from her bosses not to take part.

A Met spokesman said last night: "A PC, attached to the Met's transformation command, requested permission to take part in a reality television entertainment show in Nigeria. Permission was not given.

"The Met is aware the officer has since appeared on the show without authority.

"The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances.

Nicki Minaj reveals she and boyfriend Kenneth Petty will be married in 'About 80 Days'

On Monday, August 12, the 36-year-old rapper revealed on the new episode of her Queen Radio Show that she and boyfriend Kenneth Petty will be married in “about 80 days.”

She explained that she and Petty filed for the marriage license and they still had to pick it up and she was traveling, by the time she came back, they had to renew it again.

“From that time, you have 90 days to get married. That was about a week ago, so now I have about 80 days,” Minaj shared.

Nicki also said that she and Petty will celebrate their union with a small, intimate ceremony and will plan a big wedding later.

“I have to work on my album and I have a lot to focus on that I don’t want to do the big wedding now. We’ll do the big wedding later,” Minaj said.

“I’ll be married before my album comes out, but will have my wedding after the album comes out. Before the 90 days is over, yes, I will be married.”

However Matilda Duncan fired back at the Federal Government over claims of Tekno's action being a threat to national security. The media personality who pointed out that the ladies wore bikinis and were not nude as insinuated, further questioned the priorities of the country.

'NYPD is the toughest gang in New York' - 50 Cent reacts as officials close the case against officer who ordered police to shoot him 'on sight'

The NYPD has closed its investigation into claims that a Brooklyn commanding officer ordered police to shoot rapper, 50 Cent on sight.  

According to a report by the New York Daily News, the NYPD Internal Affairs Investigators concluded that 72nd Precinct Deputy Inspector Emmanuel Gonzalez did not mean any malice when he made the statement about 50cent. As a result, they have elected not to move forward with any departmental or criminal charges.

During the investigation, Gonzalez filed an aggravated harassment complaint against 50 Cent. He claimed that the rapper threatened him on Instagram by using his popular "get the strap" hashtag.
